Defining a new brand and application experience
Branding an innovative startup in the trade sector
Yepic needed a brand to match their innovative solution in a staid corporate sector. I took them through an exploration of brand values, writing a manifesto and vision that resonated for business vision and customer acceptance.



Brand values and aesthetics
As a team we worked through, revised and iterated a set of values that lead to a realisation that the existing application solution wasn't delivering to the brand expectations. In the visualisation stage we proposed a variety of manageable and editable styles that would allow growth and definitely deliver stand out. Promoting a revolutionary call to arms in messaging we wanted to make trades people understand Yepic was on their side, fighting to make a difference for them everyday.


Bringing the personality to life in the application
After our initial brand work was finished I persuaded the team to let us update the application journey. My UX/UI background enables me to bridge from brand to product and we felt we delivered an experience that truly reflected the brand. Working with an external mobile development team we created something unique but natural to use.
User testing throughout the brand exploration
Testing user acceptance was important to make sure we were never going to miss the market. In testing we found more people loved the brand difference than had reservations. It's difference was respected with those that were more conservative but didn't alienate.
