Baringa needed a new design system after moving from Umbraco to Optimizely
New design, existing brand guidelines
Baringa challenged us to find a new design but with out altering the existing brand guidelines. Probably one of the more challenging design phases I've done, due to multiple tiers of stakeholders with very different opinions. To resolve this I forced us to have a 3 day design sprint with clients to reduce iteration time. I worked with a small team of designers to generate UX, UI and design systems using XD management flow to give the client a constant view.
AA compliance device neutral design with brand personality
This was a challenging brand to implement within compliance restrictions. I developed a minimal colour design, reserving high visibility colours for actions and key call outs.
Design system
To make sure that all pages had the same rules we designed atoms, molecules, components and templates that were reusable across all pages. The designs were generated with fonts, padding, heights and widths exposed for developers to work from and as a team implemented any required changes due to build restrictions.
